It makes sense to divide a large Hard-Drive into smaller, more manageable partitions-whether to run multiple operating systems, simplify backups, or just organize the overall file system. We at Virtual Geek Work recommend our customers to divide their Hard-Drives into smaller partitions for the Operating System, Program Files and Data.
Example:
If a Hard Drive is 100 GB with one partition, Divide It into smaller partitions, Operating System – 20 GB, Program files – 20 GB and the rest (50GB) for Data.
By doing this, the data and the program files are safe even if the Operating System crashes. In this case the OS could be repaired and can make it functional as how it was before instead of losing everything (OS, Program Files and Data) by having them on a single partition
Brickwork Remote Technical Support Assistant can help organize your computer’s
Hard-Drive.
* We do fix partitions which are Inaccessible and Corrupted by any third party software. |
